Hi, I'm Diana Rosa the artist and spirit behind Ascended Alchemist.I have always lived between worlds. You’ll find me rocking cowboy boots, a hat and leather fringe and heading to the next adventure. Or you’ll find me in flowing silks and linen, surrounded by crystals and tarot cards, preparing for ceremony.These may look like two different worlds, but to me, they have always belonged together. I am a woman with a wild spirit and an oracle soul. Ascended Alchemist was born where those two worlds meet.But before I could create Ascended Alchemist, I had to become her.And sometimes the universe knows before you do.It knew it was time for me to shed what no longer served me. To realign. Then, as if by divine design, the whole world came to a complete standstill. And in that stillness, my life began to move.I could no longer remain in the life I had known. The city, the relationship, the familiar. So, as a newly single mother, with the world shut down around us, my daughter Phoenix Rose and I left it all behind and made our way to Ojai, California, nestled in what is often called the Valley of the Moon. With its deep Chumash roots and long history as a place of healing, it felt exactly where we were meant to land. I did not know it then, but this valley would become a place of healing and becoming. In that quiet, something inside me finally had room to breathe. I turned inward. For the first time, I truly began to listen.I had already been making bolo ties for myself from vintage brooches, earrings, and forgotten treasures. But it was there, in the stillness, that my craft began to transform.One day, after a hypnotherapy session, I found myself crying, wondering how I was going to pay the rent and make this new life work. Then, in the middle of that fear, I received a huge download."You are an artist. And artists do not have nine to five jobs or guaranteed paychecks."I stopped. Wait. What? Me? An artist?I had always considered myself a crafter. Never an artist. And something in me recognized the truth of those words. A seed had been planted.As that seed began to take root, my work began to change with me.Crystals found their way into my hands and into my work. I began bringing ancient pieces of the earth into my creations, transforming them into something intentional and sacred that could be worn. I did not realize it then, but the same alchemy taking place within me was beginning to move through my hands. Then, during a weekend of sacred ceremony, a name came to me.Ascended Alchemist.I knew immediately that this was what I was here to birth into the world.Ascended Alchemist did not feel like a business name. It felt like a recognition. With that name, everything came into focus. I was no longer simply making just beautiful things. I was creating the art of sacred adornment, where intention, ritual, and alchemy come together. To adorn the body as a sacred temple.This is the heart of every piece I create. Each one is an invitation to make your daily adornment a sacred ritual.My intention is to remind us of the art of adornment, transforming an everyday act into a conscious ritual of intention, self expression, and devotion. I hope we can all remember that even the simplest moments of our day can become sacred rituals when we meet them with presence.This is the legacy I hope to leave for my daughter and for those who come after us. The Sacred Oath
Turquoise has been carried for thousands of years as a protective amulet and held sacred in ceremony. Known for awakening intuition and supporting authentic expression, turquoise invites us to listen deeply, trust what arises, and speak with intention.
I named this piece The Sacred Oath for the promises we make to ourselves. A reminder to honor our inner wisdom, mean what we say, and live in alignment with our word. Our words carry the power to shape our reality.
